Saudi government blames foreign countries or organizations for terrorists' attacks in the country. Saudi try to find a culprit to blame, in order to show that the country has never been part of fueling radicalism or supporting it, not to mention being part of it.
In November 1995, a car bomb exploded outside a U.S. training facility in Riyadh killing 7 people and injuring more than 60 others. Days later, the Saudi government announced the capture of the terrorists and executed them, after showing them in front of cameras confessing bombing the building.
In 1996, a truck bomb explosion in Alkhober Towers military housing complex injured more than 370 people and killed 19 others. Saudi government blamed Shia citizens and Iran, even though no concrete evidence was shown. U.S. investigators were not satisfied by the evidence handed to them by Saudis and still believe bin Laden was somehow involved in Alkhobar bombing.
It was also reported and denied by the Saudi government that there had been an attempt to bomb the Defense Ministry in November of 1995. Other acts of terror might have been prevented but kept secret by the Saudi government.
Intelligent sources blame Bin Laden and its followers for both attacks, while Saudi government pretend as what had happened will be part of the past. Yes, it is in the past, but not forgotten, and Al-Qaeda members do work under cover and here to stay as long as Saudi government support continues, and it is.
During the past year, many attacks on foreign nationals were carried out. The attacks ranged from time bombs planted under the car, to direct shooting of the victims. Most of the victims were of European community, and some are Americans. Again, Saudi government considered the attacks as isolated incidences. Even U.S. officials wanted to believe so and stated that those "attacks" were not related to September 11th which left an estimated 4000 people dead.
Saudi officials and local newspapers linked the attacks to alcohol trafficking, and arrested three Britons and charged them with some of the bomb attacks. Again, Saudi government denies the presence of Saudi terrorists groups on its land, and defended its position that says Saudi Arabia had never supported not promoted violence to anyone.
In fact, almost all government agencies are involved in a systematic attack on others, claiming that they are infidels and deserve death. In one hand asking to do "jihad' against them, and in another hand raising kids to do the same, by
Reality says a different story. Saudi government promotes radicalism at all levels. School books are full with hatred to peoples of the book "Jews and Christians", promoting "Jihad" against them, enslaving them and their women. Since its creation, Saudi government spent billions of dollars on promoting such ideology. Not Jews and Christians are targeted, but also Shia Muslims who are Saudi citizens. Shia citizens were accused of being polytheists, atheists, and innovators in Islam and must be forced to Wahhabi Islam or face death.
Teachers teach our kids to embrace death more than life. Teachers show our kids videotapes how to bring a body from the morgue, and step by step until burial. It happens in boys' schools and girls' schools. They forced kids to gather into a large room and show them how to wash dead people, putting them in coffin, and carrying them to their graves. All are real pictures, which resulted in crying of many kids; others went into coma. While the film shows, comments were promoting kids to work towards heaven by honoring death and disgracing life. Such activities are not in the course books, but accepted advocated by the Ministry of Education.
Agencies that promote hatred, violence and terrorism are finance by Saudis, such as Alharamin Foundation, World Association for Muslim Youth (WAMY) and many others. Books were printed and distributed free all over the globe, promoting Whahabi understanding of Islam, which led to such disasters.
Saudi government gave the green light to government clerics to insult Jews and Christians, and other Muslims too. They ask their followers to fight Americans, Jews all over using all means, including suicide bombings. Dr. and cleric Naser Alomar, a former staff member of Imam Mohamed Bin Saud Islamic University asked to do suicide bombing against Americans, just one day before the fall of Saddam regime. His statement was live on Almajd satellite T.V. channel broadcast from Dubai, and financed by Saudi government.
Cleric Saad Alburaik asked to enslave Jewish women, confiscate their belongings and kill them, in one of his seminar. In another Prayer seminar, Alburaik stated receiving an order from the king to insult Jews, by mentioning how bad they are, and the right to fight them.
Saudi television broadcasts lots and lots of religious propaganda against the west as a whole, and against moderate Muslims too. Government scholar insult Shia all the time, and promote "jihad" against the infidels. Fatwa Higher Council follows similar path and propagating such decrees "fatwas" and prints such pamphlets and distribute them free of charge in all government and private agencies, and even hospitals.
Religious police has offices in almost every hospital and mall, terrorizing people and forcing them to behave differently, or otherwise bare the consequences. Consequences mean verbal abuse, beating, jail, or even in some occasions resulted in sexual abuse, as it happened to many foreigners from Philippine nationality.
To add salt to the insult, radical groups have access to every supermarket and shopping center to persuade shoppers to donate money to their cause. Whey you go to a shopping mall, you face a stand with a box for donation, a man distributing pamphlets asking for donations, and in many instances, a videotape showing "mujahedeen" and "martyrs' in Chechnya, Kashmir and Philippines.
Universities are no different; staffs teach hatred and their lecture notes are available to students which is full with its sick ideology. In addition, they recruit students to go and do "jihad" against Americans in Iraq and other countries. University administration knows about all the activities of its staff, but keeping blind eye.
After all that, Saudi government denies any wrong doing, and blames others for what had happened and is happening days ago. The suicidal attacks against foreign nationals are something not just expected; but had to. Such ideology is home grown and reared with billions of dollars, given all the opportunity to grow up, and now is harvest time. It is not shocking to see the consequences, but shocking to see it that late. |
